Background:       These articles discuss the shift in Kamala Harris' policy stances since her 2019 campaign. Some areas in which her policy stances have changed include fracking, healthcare, the size of the Supreme Court, taxes on tips, and border control. Most announcements about these policy stance changes have come from Harris campaign officials instead of from Harris herself. Additionally, some of these changes have not received any official announcement but are instead inferred by some of Harris' recent actions.  CBS News: Harris had an extremely liberal voting record in the Senate when she campaigned in 2019 for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, making her candidacy a remote possibility. Welcome to Split Screen Politics! In this blog, I will take coverage of political events from different media sources and place them side by side. I will then compare and contrast the content of each source's coverage. My goal is to uncover the biases present in different media sources. I wish to encourage my readers to seek multiple sources and perspectives when consuming political news.  Most of my posts will compare the coverage of different popular online news media sources. When deciding which two sources to compare, I will attempt to use those that have traditionally contrasting political viewpoints. I will use the AllSides Media Bias Chart as a basis for determining which news sources hold which viewpoints.  I will also make periodical posts that compare political coverage on different social media accounts.
